MORS VEL GLORIA is a clothing brand focused on thoughtful and sustainable practices. Working within my current means I experiment with up-cycling clothing that has been sourced from various places and would likely end up in landfill.
I try to work with natural and organic materials and avoid plastics. Everything is currently made by me, in-house, on a made-to-order basis with a limited number of orders so the process stays manageable, but in the long term I hope to grow the project into a small team of like minded creatives. The aim would be to open order windows that allow for more pieces to be made while still keeping the process DIY and made to order.
More than anything, I hope this project can contribute to a wider conversation around clothing and sustainability. If it can encourage people to value their garments more, support eco-friendly practices, and extend the life of existing pieces through reuse and up-cycling, then maybe we can make a positive impact on this planet.
